In English, in preparation for our trip, we explored riddles. The children wrote their own riddles about African animals, using fantastic adjectives and imaginative language to describe them.
We were also very excited to visit Hanwell Zoo this week, and it was a truly wonderful experience for everyone. The children loved seeing a range of animals up close, including lemurs, meerkats, and even flamingos. It was fantastic to see their learning come to life as they made connections with the research they had been doing in class. The children behaved beautifully throughout the trip and represented the school so well. It was a lovely day enjoyed by all.
It has been another busy and engaging week of learning, and the children should be very proud of their hard work and contributions across all subjects – very well done!
